Space Heaters
Hey there, LJ-verse! What do you know about space heaters?
I know almost nothing about them, and am wondering about stuff like:
* Advantages and disads of propane vs. electric
* How much space they can really heat up
* Safety and noise issues
* Anything else I should know
...All in the context of heating buildings that are not otherwise heated at, say, a January larp event, for instance.
All sleeping cabins have heat, but we're trying to figure out to what degree we can expand our functional mod space with space heaters! I'm guessing we can get away with heating a small PC-style cabin that way, but could several space heaters potentially heat up a larger mod builing, for instance? (Especially if there was no fighting?)
Just trying to figure out what our options are!
