I went back two days, just to see if anyone mentioned Yom Kippur (hey, I fasted too! XD But by the end of the day I was just like "okay, it's over, feed me now", so...) No one did, BTW

Whenever I feel down about my figure, I look at a picture of Marilyn being all fabulous and tell myself, "You're thinner AND taller than HER, and she's amazing! Stop being silly!"

Also, I stumbled across this photo essay book all of redheaded pinup girls from the 1940s-1960s. One of the shots was of Marilyn in her pre-blonde days, and it was beyond stunning. I only wish I could track down a decent-sized print of that shot, and frame it on my wall. Mmm.

... Well, I'm shorter and fatter than Marilyn and I'm pretty damn fantastic too. The idea with this whole picspam thing is that the idea that the taller and thinner you are the prettier you are is total and utter BS.

I wouldn't mind more models like Crystal myself. She's sexy and I think fashion doesn't want to admit what sexy is, really. It's real women with tits and asses and hips. They pretend that its strave waiflings, because it's harder to control SEXY.

Fashion doesn't want to respond to real woman with curves because it is harder to fit and the designers would actually have to do some work. To fit the tall skinny woman is like pretending that the clothing only has to be 2 dimensional. A real women with curves requires dealing with 3 dimensions!
