I was in Creative Writing. We were watching the morning announcements on TV, actually, for the school, when they interrupted all the classes and announced what was going on over the intercom. We turned the TV on just in time to see the footage of the towers getting hit.

I was the only person in my class who didn't cry.

Hey now, when I called you, I hadn't heard the whole story yet either, and you were in that "east coast" area... ^_^ Gimme some credit. XD

So yeah, I was on my way to work when it happened, listening to CDs in the car, so I didn't know what was going on til I got there.

heh i remember waking up and going to my computer and my ex was all omg a plane hit the trade center and I totally thought he was joking and he kept telling me that he was serious so eventually he got tired of arguing with me and told me to turn on the news which i did. then i had to go to my psych class ...ran into B on the way and told her...but when i got to class it was cancelled because nobody could concentrate and the prof wanted to go watch the news too so i went back to my room to watch the news with B and some random people from my hall.it was strange... It appears that my first reaction to really bad news is to assume its a dumb joke. everytime something horrible happens i react that way....

Due to the time difference, I woke up to see the footage on television, and I watched the first tower fall (or rather, I was watching the news about the event when the first tower fell. They were actually showing us footage of the pentagon when it happened... by the time they switched back to footage of the World Trade Center, the tower was gone ( ... )
