Due to the time difference, I woke up to see the footage on television, and I watched the first tower fall (or rather, I was watching the news about the event when the first tower fell. They were actually showing us footage of the pentagon when it happened... by the time they switched back to footage of the World Trade Center, the tower was gone).
A couple of things about my experience that day really stand out in my mind... First, Ryuutchi, I was really worried about you for no particular reason. I think it was because one of the planes came from Boston... and because I'm neurotic!
Secondly, I remember clearly what my mother said to me when I came in to watch the news: " Planes crashed into the world trade center and the pentagon. We're going to war." I also remember that one of my high school classmates didn't believe anything had happened, and was asking people to tell him the truth about it.
Last, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I felt more anger that day than I had ever felt in my life. I swear, I was a super-villain bitch that day with plans to destroy THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST!!! Muahahahahahaha!!!!!!! um... I mean, isn't it awful that I felt that way? Yeah... needless to say I don't anymore.
