Video of the Day: THE MIGHTY HERCULES: "Search of the Golden Apples"
Now this is how I remember watching The Mighty Hercules (1963) on UHF TV every early evening! (It was either PBS in NY, or UHF Channel 63, where I also watched Speed Racer.)
I really enjoyed this cartoon as a kid, and this is still one of my favorite incarnations of Hercules himself! I watched some episodes on Comcast OnDemand years back (when they had some classic cartoons and stuff to show), but they replaced the original opening and ending with a lame new opening/ending with montage footage and a new synthesizer theme song. At last, I present a sample episode to you as it was meant to be seen! Please enjoy.
