I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack

Like, yesterday, actually, but I was immensely exhausted.

Japan was one word : Awesome.

The cities and shrines and temples are immensely majestic and because it was somewhere in the transition of autumn and winter the place was painted with splashes of red, yellow and gold, and those leaves are known as koyo. It's basically the autumn equivalent of Japanese cherry blossoms in spring, and most likely just as spectacular, since I've never seen the latter in real life. Experiencing autumn for me was an immensive experience, because despite the fact that I've always loved it so much, I've never actually experienced it.

Also, it has made me realised just how extremely overpriced Japanese food is in other parts of the world. And in Singapore. I mean, things can cost like threefold and it doesn't even taste half as good as the original. I'm also longing for the Japanese buffets in the hotels, every morning and every other night, honest. Ramen there is extremely salty, and it was fantastic. Plus, tempura and okonomiyaki, and fancy being served takoyaki and Japanese style pasta for breakfast!! Amongst others.

Nijo Castle was brilliant, and we also saw the Golden Pavillion with extremely exclusive admissions, because its insides are only open to very very important political visits. There was the A-bomb dome and the Hiroshima peace museum, as well as The Japan Mint and NHK building.

And, very naturally, there's the shopping. I would do this very bimbotic/xia-xue thing and take a photo of all my shopping spoils, but let's just say I bought so much I have no idea what I've bought and it's already all over the place. So hey! I bought so much I spent twice more then what I expected, but not one item was regretted.

I also caved in and bought Monopoly Deal at the airport because I just liked it that much.

I've also taken so many photos that I needed a second memory card for my camera hahaha /shame. Few of them involved me, but here's an obligatory I-was-there photo! Yes, guess who. Also, that's Universal Studios Japan! And I haven't even been the one in my own country. /shame

Speaking of who, someone in Japan carved the word "Who" on a telephone box somewhere in Hiroshima's downtown. Hah.

UVERworld, was also in Hiroshima exactly five days before I got there. To compensate I caved and bought one of their albums. I also saw Teppei Koike's handprints at USJ wall of fame and it's like gahhhhso near yet to far.

In all honesty, I feel like a golfball that has been served a single hit back into the hole of J-culture loving. Huzzah!
