I'm actually reading another Russell Quant novel: Flight of Aquavit, and I'm only on the 52nd page...but there's this part where Quant lies to this bored theatre worker, tells her his name is Rick Astly and lists off these Astly songs as "productions" that he, as an actor, has been involved in. However, the following sentence made me think of something:
Although I didn't really expect her to call, I was on a roll and had just thought up one more Rick Astly hit I hadn't used yet.
A...RICK ROLL?
EDIT: ..."so I immediately dialled onto the internet"...
GOOD GOD, HOW OLD IS THIS BOOK?!
A Note of No Importance: I lol'd a little when I saw that #666 on my comprehensive playlist was
"Unholy" by the Comedown Band. It's a cool song anyway, so give it a listen :)
