Day 8:
So last night was Day 8 and it went well. Having a 2nd go around on exercises help me understand what weights and rep to do things at. Also it let me know roughly where I stood so I can max out on all the exercises. Ate a big dinner and felt great the next day. Still a bit low on energy, but feel a bit stronger and definitely lighter. Pullups and pushups are things I'm familiar with so maybe because it was in my comfort zone, I was able to do just fine.
Only been 8 days so far. Not even 1/9 of the entire program but it's felt like forever. I'll be going on vacation soon, so I need to burn the videos I need so I can try to attempt to do it on the road. It might be rough to keep up the same exercise routine, and definitely harder to keep up the diet. I want to do the best I can so I won't get derailed so early in the program. Christmas is coming up too, so that's scary. I'm not a big Thanksgiving eater and I won't be around anyway, so I'm safe.
Sometimes I think I'm skinner in the face, legs, thighs, waist etc. but I don't really know until I measure. But I want to save that for 30 days out so I can feel good about the improvement. Maybe it's all mental image. I think my pants feel looser?
People sometimes tell me that I don't look like I need to loose weight at all, and it's really a matter of body image. Some people look great but want that 2% of body fat out. Other people need to loose 50 lbs. in order to have an healthy outlook on life. It's all relative. I never say to someone that they don't need to lose weight. Only when they are a true stick am I concerned over unhealthy weight loss. I don't know many people like that, and the ones that I do, very well know they are TOO skinny and wish they were bigger.
