P90X: Day 7

Day 7

Today is a rest or stretch day. I tried out the stretch dvd and it was ok, but I will skip it next week. I think I get enough stretching throughout the other 6 days, and I prefer to use Sunday to recover from 6 days of beating. Also, taking an hour plus out of my morning doesn't do me any favors.

Eating through the weekend was hard. Lots of the places I eat at with my friends aren't very P90X friendly. I end up saying "anywhere with meat and veggies"!

Later tonight I will begin week 2 which is the same routine as last week. It wills this way for 3 weeks before switching it up. For once this week I'm not sore in my arms and chest, but my legs are a bit stiff. Let's see if I can't better my numbers from last week.

Overall, I don't feel more energetic or strong, but I feel lighter for sure. I'm only about 1/12th done but looking forward to see where this journey takes me.

On a side note I was able to get my good friend to try P90X too. I'm excited to have other people join the cause. It's comforting to know there are more people going through the same things you are. It's not easy, but the payoff is huge.
