This is a summary of what was said and done in the hilarious 35th and final broadcast of the Kuroshitsuji II Webradio "Phantom Party Night - A Midnight Masquerade". It features the lovely seiyuus for Grell Sutcliff (Fukuyama Jun), Ronald Knox (KENN), and William T. Spears (Sugiyama Noriaki). The Shinigami Trio hosted the final two broadcasts of the webradio - specially renamed as "Soul Conductor Beneath the Moon" for their sake. Here is the "The Legendary Hill-Figure" summary of the 35th broadcast. Please enjoy.

Kuroshitsuji II Webradio #35
THE LEGENDARY HILL-FIGURE Summary

In the second episode of Kuroshitsuji II, Elizabeth searched for the legendary “White Steer of Happiness” with Ciel. For this corner, listeners can send in hometown legends, unusual experiences or people, and even paranormal events. In the beginning, listeners were sending in fun facts and mysteries. But now, the corner is overflowing with scary legends and ghost stories.

KENN is especially terrified of scary stories (how cute~ X3). He doesn't hate them, but he will immediately get the goosebumps if he sees or hears anything spooky. Although he has never had any real encounters with ghosts, his mind is engraved with the Hollywood-style, deformed ghouls that wreak terror upon men. His imagination tends to run wild and he often scares himself with his own thoughts. XD

KENN proceeds to ask Fukuyama-san for any personal experiences with wandering spirits. JunJun has had two paranormal events in his life so far, but since he has already talked about them so many times within other shows, he's gotten kinda bored of sharing them. So JunJun decides to share an unusual experience he had when he was very young. During his elementary years, his family lived in an apartment, and his mother owned a scooter with a big black cover to put over it. A small child could easily climb under the cover and hide within. One afternoon, as young!JunJun skipped down the stairs to go play, there was a strange man standing on the roof of the building across from their apartment. The man was dressed like a certain TV character (because of copyright reasons, detailed descriptions were shot out, so I'm not quite sure who this guy was dressed as ^^;). The strange man suddenly pointed his finger directly at young!JunJun, kinda in a way a hero would point to a villain. This scared young!JunJun so bad that he ran and hid under his mom's scooter cover, trembling and shaking for nearly an hour! He finally peaked out of the cover, but the weird man was still standing on the roof and he pointed at young!JunJun again. The poor kid went back into hiding, stayed there for a long time, and finally got so tired that he fell asleep still under the cover XD. His mother came home and found him, and when he looked toward the roof, the strange man was gone. This experience traumatized JunJun, and he still gets scared whenever that certain character appears on TV. (I want to go back in time to see a scared young!JunJun~. LOL)

JunJun says that he does have some scary stories up his sleeve, but he won't share them. He once shared one at a certain anime event. The cast was taking turns telling scary ghost stories, and the audience was really enjoying them. JunJun was expecting some girly screams and normal stuff after he told his story, but when he finished, the audience was completely silent and wide-eyed. The rest of the cast tried to help him calm the audience down, but they were all frozen and too terrified to clap or laugh. XD Sugiyama-san and KENN-kun agree that a situation like that would be incredibly stressful and embarrassing if it happened to them too.

Fukuyama-san then asks Sugiyama-san and KENN-san for any of their unusual or scary experiences. Sugiyama-san can't seem to recall any at the moment; he doesn't have a lot. JunJun points out that, with the world becoming so modernized, legends and mysterious tales have begun to fade into history. Way in the past, people were all about ghosts and demons, but now they are nothing but mere fairytales or “coincidental” occurrences. Even the children of today can use technology to, in a way, “erase” their fears and “solve” mysteries of the world. Children are becoming more learned of their surroundings, and not really using their imaginations to answer their everyday questions. Sugiyama-san agrees that kids are learning how to work technology very early in their lives. JunJun exclaims, “And I only recently learned how to send texts!” It's true, JunJun is technology-impaired. LOL He has a iPhone, but he was only using it as an iPod because he didn't know how to work anything else. KENN cries, “You had the Phone and you just used it as a Pod?!” LOL

KENN suddenly recalls a “spirit-leaving-the-body” experience. This shocks his two senpai. KENN was once told by a friend who often saw spirits, “You are merely preventing yourself from seeing them. If only you just allowed yourself, you could easily see them too.” This makes JunJun remember a similar phrase that a homosexual man told him, “You are merely preventing yourself from becoming like us. If only you just allowed yourself, you could easily unleash your inner femininity.” XD Anyway, KENN continues with his story. During his junior high years, he came home one evening extremely exhausted and decided to take a nap in his room. As he closed his eyes, he became paralyzed on the bed - couldn't talk, couldn't move. Then slowly he felt himself float off his bed, into the air, through the roof, and above his house. He turned and looked down. The roof of his house became transparent and he saw his body still on his bed. He stayed this way for a few minutes, then suddenly found himself back in his room, still on his bed. He blew the whole experience off as “just a dream”. But JunJun says, “Oh, you never know~. You might've had a close encounter with the other side~.”

They begin to discuss the phenomenon of “sleep paralysis”. The Japanese believe that it is caused by wandering spirits entering your household. The Trio have all experienced sleep paralysis at least once in their life so far. JunJun is especially excited to experience it. He doesn't feel scared or anything, instead he desperately tries to make even the slightest movement while in the paralyzed state. Just like finding a four-leaf clover, he thinks it might bring him good luck. XD But he has never succeeded; has not been able to move even a finger.

According to the Trio, there are many seiyuu who have incredibly strong “spirit detectors” and true ghost stories. But since none of our lovely three have very mysterious or unusual experiences, they get kinda depressed. XD

They finally read a fanmail from a listener named “Gekka”. She often has incredibly realistic dreams that later come true, creating a déjà vu effect. All her friends find her ability unusual, and one even said she might be possessed (how rude XD). However, Gekka is confident that she is not the only one who has these strange dreams, and asks the Trio if they've ever experienced anything similar.
KENN and JunJun casually find her ability to be quite normal, causing some surprise in Sugiyama-san. KENN and JunJun have both experienced dreams coming true. JunJun especially dreams of very random, non-dramatic things that later reoccur as déjà vu. He gives an example: He and KENN and Sugiyama-san have never done a radio broadcast together. But for some reason, JunJun gets a feeling like they've done it once before. He will then suddenly recall a certain dream he had a few months ago where he hosted a radio show with Sugiyama-san and KENN-kun. And bam! - déjà vu. KENN-kun also has similar types of experiences as well, but he often forgets the dream itself. He'll be like, “I swear I've seen this before...but I can't remember where.” Sugiyama-san apparently doesn't have any unusual dreams. XD JunJun points out that a lot of men, in movies and in real life, use a fake déjà vu to get a girl, “Hey, miss? Have we ever met before? I swear we have. Destiny must have allowed us to meet once more.” LOL
The Trio proceed to discuss the “uselessness” of déjà vu - it is something that happens after or during an experience. JunJun compares it to a fist fight. A déjà vu may prove to be useful if it foretells an opponent's movements. For example: you see a vision of the guy getting ready to punch you in the face, so you gracefully dodge the attack when it comes and move in for a counter of your own. However, this is not the case with a true déjà vu. You WON'T see a vision of the guy getting ready to punch you, so you WON'T be able to dodge in time. A true déjà vu will happen WHILE you're getting socked in the face. XD
Sugiyama-san suddenly remembers at time when he passed by a part of the city that he had never been to before in his entire life, but felt like he had visited the place before. KENN and Fukuyama-san have also had similar experiences. Every few years or so, JunJun always has a certain unusual dream. In it, he is standing on a very high cliff, somewhere not in Japan. With other people nearby, he looks out over the vast horizon while snow falls around him. KENN thinks that it might be a memory of his past life. JunJun gets excited, “I was an Eskimo?!” XD Sugiyama-san then suggests, “Well, if there are any of you listeners who are dream-interpreting specialists, please send us some insight and we might just include it in the upcoming DJCD~.”

And here we go, on to the next corner~.
