(no subject)
The cancer scare is offically over and passed. All is well. So...back to other ramblings.
I've a sinus infection and my head is pounding. At times I feel a little dizzy, and I want to take my head and smash it through my monitor as we speak. :D I also have to drive later, which I'm not looking forward to. Chris has been off for a week, so I haven't really had to drive at all which has been nice, but that's now over.
I downloaded 3 gigs worth of Sound Horizon stuff and have listened/watched it all. It's fantastic! I only wish I understood Japanese better so I could really know what it's about. It inspires me to compose my album, but at the same time, I can't come up with a story. I want it to be fantastical, but not lame, and everything I seem to come up with has been, so far, lame.
It makes me wonder if the Sound Horizon stuff is just incredibly lame (story-wise) and I'm just too ignornant to understand what it's about, and just apprecate it for its music. :P At any rate, an idea I've had was to look at old legends and mythology and see if I could find a story I could base mine on. So far, I haven't really found anything that's stood out.
Well...time for an advil and sleep for a few hours I think. Hopefully I'll hear that sweet, sweet pop of sinus decongestion soon enough.
