Surgery went well. They found 7 polyps, 2 which they believed to be cancerous, and removed them all without complication.
They've sent off tests to see if any cancer cells have penetrated the uterus, and if that's the case then the next step is probably a hysterectomy.
She's at home now, resting and doing just fine. So far so good. :)
