I got some New Guinea impatiens and dracaena spikes for my container out front. I put the spikes in the center, then ringed it with the impatiens. Now I'm reading that the impatiens can be temperamental. Figures

i know how you feel about the money, i'm always freaking out about it. me because i can't live on my own, i'm only under a roof because mom says i can be. i wish i didn't have to rely on her, but what can you do at 7.75 an hour?
i'm fine otherwise, but i always flip out about how much stuff costs and how little money i have. i have more money set aside than alot of my friends do, but i always panick about it.
Cait coming down is terribly exciting, but its also very costly. i hate to ask her to pay for things, because i want to be the gentleman i was taught to be and do everything for her, but i can't afford everything we want to do on my own this time...
New Guinea's can be a bit picky. I had a plant in a hanging basket in VT one time and they did NOT like high sun. After I thought it died [burned to a crisp], my roommate watered it and a week later it was back, new flowers and all *shrug*
I'm with you on the money freaking (and also a scorpio...hmm). I used to be better when it was just my life, but now I have someone depending on me all the "whatifs" are driving me nuts.
With me, it's not that I think we'll be turned down but I think we're not going to be able to afford a house because of my surgery loan and his student loan, and we'll be stuck there once we sign a mortgage.
But you're right. Things aren't as bad as they seem in your (my) head. We have food and shelter and we're relatively happy, right? :) We'll be fine.
