I got some New Guinea impatiens and dracaena spikes for my container out front. I put the spikes in the center, then ringed it with the impatiens. Now I'm reading that the impatiens can be temperamental. Figures.
I'm worn out. My allergies are getting to me, Kenneth's are killing him. The rain we were promised didn't materialize - there was just enough to splatter the dust on my car. We need a good, cleansing rainstorm.
The wind's picking up - hopefully my new plants will be ok.
Jay talked to the HR person at work, and found out we've got a $350 individual deductible on our insurance. I thought for sure it was the higher amount. That helps a bit...
You guys know that money is one of my hot buttons. I'm so stressed about it that I'm having trouble seeing that we're doing FINE. We have a roof over our heads, the utilities work, we have a pantry full of food. We have two working cars. And yet, I fixate on the possibility that we'll be turned down for a new house. Bless Jay's heart - he's trying to help me stay on an even keel.
So yeah.
I'm gonna go take a shower so I can go to bed. I gotta get the pollen and "outside" off of me before I sleep. Hopefully I sleep better tonight than I did last night. :(
