(no subject)
Got up early (for me) to run everyone where they needed to be so I could have the van. Came home to have breakfast and check email. Checked on ChaCha to see if maybe I could still log in and I couldn't. I couldn't make a new account, either - the page wouldn't load. Napped for about an hour, then left to do a little shopping and go to the Social Security office to apply for Kenneth's SSI.
Relaxing half an hour waiting and crocheting (if I studiously ignored the woman a couple of rows ahead of me who popped her damn gum the entire time), then talked with a representative - ironically, the same one who had helped me before. There didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary, and she said I'd hear back in 30 - 60 days. Let's hope it's sooner and positive.
Ran to Target to get a few things, then came home to get Jack for his vet appointment. He was NOT happy about being put in his carrier, and hooked his claws into my shoulder, getting them stuck. As he struggled, they twisted around under the skin, which hurt like HELL. Eventually got him boxed up and to the vet, where he was pronounced perfectly healthy and of a good weight (15 lbs, 4 oz - up just an ounce from two years ago). Got his upper respiratory distemper and his rabies booster and brought him home. He's all licensed for the next year.
Ran around and picked everyone up, came home, and crashed really hard on the recliner. Just worn out and sore all over.
I feel like I got some things accomplished, though.
Sarah came over about 10:30 and we talked for a bit. I didn't get too deep into her affairs, but it seemed ok. Apparently, she's still staying at Candy's, and going to work and such. I believe she's had her mail forwarded over there.
Gonna start taking pictures of the stuff I'm selling on eBay tomorrow. I want to get some of it listed this weekend.
I'm crashing again, so I should get to bed.
