I know the edges are kinda funky. I had originally sewed a good portion of it backwards, then flipped it inside out...buuutttt...the shape came out weird. I think I want to make more like these now, except work on the edges. But that kind of gives it that little kid feel. I guess thats my sewing level at this point ^0^ Anywho. I got this thing at costco that I THOUGHT was a metal clip puncher...but its...just an eyelet puncher (I think? Maybe I just dont have the right metal clip things?) As you can see in the picture, the smaller colorful metal eyelets can be punched into anything. CDs, paper, metal, fabric...but it doesn't serve a function like a clasp..it just...connects things.
Anyway. Maybe I'll sew some little birdy designs onto some bag goodness.
I also made four little Omamori charms out of some Japanesy fabric that I have, but they came out bad. But I DID get to use my eyelet puncher! So basically now I have four little fabric...keychains...should I string something through them. Maybe I'll post a pic at some point. They aren't great.
