And TV cabinet.
Those who know me are aware that my way of coping with depression is buying things for myself, and generally the more expensive my purchase, the more trauma there was to ease. So I'd like to pretty much start off by saying that the 40" LED Sony Bravia 3D television, TV cabinet, Pixie Nespresso coffee machine and Breville rice cooker that I ended up with today are NOT FOR THIS REASON I AM ACTUALLY OKAY AND THEY WERE NECESSARY PURCHASES DUE TO MY HOUSEMATE LEAVING.
...Well okay, maybe not the coffee machine.
To be fair, I've been eyeing off the
Pixie espresso machines for quite a long time already, mostly stalking sales of theirs on eBay, so when my dad went shopping with me today to get me a new TV on his interest free payment plan thing and he asked if there were any other electronics I wanted 'while we were at it' I longingly peered down the coffee machine aisle.
Then the sales lady asked me which one I liked and that was that.
Aside from that though, the TV, the cabinet and the rice cooker were all things we'd had when Anis was living with me but he took them with him when he left (although he tried to sell me his TV and I laughed at him). The rice cooker was half price as well so I bought that straight out. Because my dad put it on his finance thing which I won't pretend to understand the inner workings of, I just have to pay him a little bit every week until it's paid off :D
Had no trouble assembling the cabinet and getting my TV going, so I'm pretty darn happy. Now I just need something to fill that big wall space above it!
