Last night I started Country Heat. It’s a DVD program put out by Beach Body. I was tired and feeling lazy and I promised myself that I would do the program but I didn’t really want to. It was close to 8:00pm before I got my ass in gear and actually started the program.
There is a section just on the moves and then the dance. Because I was learning the steps, it was like 20 minutes of basic motions. Then the dance. It was so much fun.
I was an unholy and sweaty wreck at the end. I needed to take breaks and I had to modify a few of the moves because my knees don’t bend in that particular direction. But boy howdy was it fun. AND I picked up 2 miles on my fitbit in the hour I was working out!! That’s awesome.
I’m doing a program of eating better and running/walking more and now I’m adding in the DVD for fun.
I’m so exhausted in such a good way. I don’t know if I can maintain this level or if this is just a jumping off point. But I am on it.
Tonight, another 30 minutes of Country Heat. Tomorrow, running in the morning. My life is so much fun right now.
Fun? Exercising? Running? Eating better? Who am I?? #RunningMyselfWhole
