Working out

So I got a sub for my sword class tonight so I could try a new class. It's a class in basic skills of Parkour.
Does anyone remember which arm hurts when you're having a heart attack? :-)
I'm at least a decade older than anyone else in this class. I'm 20 lbs overweight. And frankly, I had a ball. This class is part of my weight loss / general conditioning plan, which will definitely work if I keep to it. Much practice is needed - simple jumping alone is something that goes counter to most of my martial training. (A general rule of thumb in both Tai Chi and Aikido is Don't Get Further Away From The Ground.) So that is a challenge, but I can get it done. I look forward to doing at least mildly crazy stuff in the simple task of moving in a straight line.
