Hello everyone! =]
It's VERY, VERY IMPORTANT that you read this post if you plan on participating in this year's Rymon Fest.
In case you didn't catch the Sign-Up post that was posted on this comm a few days ago, Sign-Ups have started for the 2009 Rymon Fest!
Click
here to go to the sign-up post.
We ask that all people who plan on participating in this year's Rymon Fest to please comment on the above post so that way we can put your name on the List of Participants.
So far we only have 5 people, which isn't very many at all =/ (I decided not to assume from the poll who was going to participate and who wasn't, especially since some people are still undecided and also things might have changed) So please, sign up and/or spread the word!
Next order of business: Prompts.
While most of those who voted in the poll felt that we still had a lot of good prompts left over from last year, and that we should reuse them, Jordan and I are a bit unsure as to how this is going to work...
The problem is that we want to have room for new prompts too. But we don't want to have an overwhelming amount of prompts, so much so that they greatly outnumber the participants.
So we have a few different options...
1.) We could completely start fresh and allow only new prompts, unless we don't get enough new prompts in which case we'll add back the old ones.
2.) We could vote (in a poll? in comments?) on the prompts we'd like to keep/see written from last year.
3.) We could use only the older prompts... in which case the people who voted for completely new prompts this year would be screwed...
4.) We could open up prompt claim for last year's prompts until a certain date. Then, after that date, none of the old prompts can be claimed anymore and new prompts will be brainstormed.
So please comment here with your opinion/what you would prefer.
If you have any other ideas, please let us know those too. =)
Thanks!

P.S. I think #2 or #4 might be the best routes to go... Although the voting would take a little time, it would be fair and we wouldn't just have some of those prompts lying around. #4's sort of nice because it seems like a win, win, win for both options on last week's poll, but... I'm not sure. So please let us know what you think!
Readers can answer this, too =) We want a bunch of people's opinions.
