Busy, busy, busy...Thats what I've been up to the last week. So I was hired as the Outreach Coordinator for the Outdoor Program at the University of Oregon. Then I was thrown into the deep end on my first day as I had to man the booth at the Grad Student Club Faire. It was crazy that I was talking about and promoting the OP when I had little interaction with the group beforehand (Yeah, England messed up that oportunity). It went well though and I survived.
Then new student Orientation happened (aka Week of Welcome). That was super hectic and I barely made it with my wits. But as I am writting this now you can rest assure that I am safe.
Oh yeah school begain and I'm taking classes. So my days from 9-5 are either booked with class or work. Its tough...My schedule works out that I don't have class on Friday though. So that is super sweet! I'm taking Forest Biology, Forest Fire and Society, The City, Food and Culture and helping teach Rock Climbing I and Rock Climbing III. So I'm pretty happy about that. My classes all seem really intresting, but I have to try my best to keep on the reading. So I'm thinking 5-8 in the library so I can read, read, read. Then at 8 I have dinner and then relax and go to bed around midnight. So we will see....
If anyone wants to join me in the library let me know...I'll love the company!
