Ride the tiger
Looking back on this past week I try to think of something eventful that occurred, but am unable to come up with anything. That can't be a good sign. On the up side, I did bring a large continuous section of the cartoon through to full color (minus backgrounds.)
I decided to put to use the zoom lens on my camera so that I can get some photos processed and send the out as a thank-you card to Margaret's parents for giving it too me. Her dad had an old SLR camera but it got stolen in Mexico so he just had a zoom lens that he couldn't use. It was fun walking around the city with this big ass zoom lens and talking to Kevin on my hands free. I probably looked like I was spying on somebody, when in actuality I was just taking pictures of the golden gate bridge and Palace of Fine Arts.
After walking around the city for a bit I decided the best way to put the lens to work would be to go to the Zoo. Wild animals seem like a subject that could benefit from the use of a zoom. I had intended to go yesterday but discovered there isn't a lion feeding on Mondays. Also, at the beginning of each month (aka next week) the zoo has a day with free admit ion.
