Korean department stores are really weird. They are literally like flea markets but more upscale if that makes sense..
So, for instance, there's a shopping mall connected to Lotte World. Very upscale. Every floor has a theme (housewares, women's fashion, etc) so you know what floor to go to. However, the floor is then divided into shops, all independently run in the Lotte World realm. So you might be looking at one rack of clothes, step over to another rack, and be at a completely different shop. The borders between shops are either very defined or loosely defined. You can't pick up a shirt, walk over to a different section, and expect to pay for that shirt.
This doesn't apply to like, some stores in Korea, but it's like this for all the major department / mall style places. Dunno if it's a prevalent style of shop in other Asian countries or it's just a Korea thing.
Also the bathroom is your shower. No joke. Most bathrooms have the shower set up on one of those "move anywhere" type things, but the drain just is in the floor. Get water everywhere and it doesn't matter because it all drains.
Haven't been taking a lot of pictures because things seem boring. It'll probably pick up once classes at Yonsei start next week.
