6 months since the last real update about my life.

How things have changed since this time last year. New people and new places.

Things are good: and getting better.

20-something girl.

I'll cut off my foot to spite my leg.

Now be careful, you might miss this one.

I see you now. Emeralds and smoke; your fair hair brushing your shoulders. Your smile, although rare and misleading, still devastating when true. I feel you now. The poison seems to balance my brain.

Less than a year later, and I'm a hypocrite.

Things are never boring though, eh?

At best we're amateur cartographers, and terrible photographers.

London: two bottles of wine, a bottle of whiskey, abusing the tube rules, attacking Sam Beam, 'Fever Dream', graffiti all over Holloway Road, stealing a pare, dancing to 60's soul and Russian folk music at the Transgressive Record's studio, pushing Anna around in a child's pram and realizing that's where she got the bruises from the next day, ( Read more... )

We are the British - a nation that's perpetually let down. A nation of cynics, and we're proud.

So it's been a pretty crazy month. These past few weeks I've slept everywhere; from a tent in the middle Glastonbury fields, to a hard airport floor, to a picnic table inside a tee-pee in Norway. And now I'm back sleeping in the bed I grew up in ( Read more... )
