I've decided just to take two classes this upcoming semester. I think I could take three and be fine, but I've been out of school for awhile now, and don't want to overextend myself. Between two jobs and college classes, two will be fine to get me back into the swing of it.

Right now the plan is to take:

CRJ 156 - Society and Victims of Crime 3 Credits
This course examines theories and research regarding victims of crime and the treatment of victims within the criminal justice system. Current social programs such as restitution, compensation, and victims’ rights will be discussed. Special attention will be paid to special victim groups; i.e., children, the elderly, and victims of family violence.

and

LAN 155 - Spanish I for Criminal Justice 3 Credits
This course is intended for students whose interests or professional goals are in the field of criminal justice. This course introduces the fundamentals of the Spanish language and emphasizes basic vocabulary and communicative functions for CJ professionals as well as for other emergency care providers. The vocabulary includes how to make and receive a report and how to communicate in an emergency and in apprehending a suspect. This course is offered both in the eelf-pace setting and the classroom.

Takes care of one of my essential CJ courses, and then takes care of a Humanities elective in something that will be useful to the job profession.

Now to see if I can register for both still.

EDIT:

Just figured out the online bullshit and registered for both of them. The spanish class is mondays, 5:30pm-8:30pm, and the CJ class is tuesdays, 6pm-8:45pm. That leaves me Wed-Fri with free evenings, and Sat/Sun with time I can do work at the Mobil station if I need to. Not a difficult semester (though I am apprehensive about Spanish, but it's something I should learn).
