Who wouldn’t know that one of Hey Say Jump’s members, Nakajima Yuto has talent in photography? Everyone in the entire world knows that. This tall, black-haired guy capture every single of his fan girl’s heart with his charm when playing drum plus his coolness every time he hold the camera just make all girls go kyaah~
But Yuto doesn’t know that he’s not only captivated his fan’s heart but also one of JUMP’s members…
Yuto’s passion in photography is shown in every picture that he took. His pictures are not just an image on a piece of photo paper but they have an implicit meaning and unspeakable emotion. That’s why Johnny-san trusted him to be the photographer to take JUMP’s member pictures for ‘Thank you~Bokutachi Kara Kimi E’ performance in their Asia First Tour Concert. The audiences are all screamed when they saw Yuto’s picture holding the camera knowing that those beautiful pictures of the members was taken by him.
JUMP’s members are all proud of Yuto especially Ryosuke who support him the most. Today, Johnny-san once again gives him his trust as he announces that Yuto will be part in JUMP’s new calendar making as the photographer.
“Sugoi~ Yutti, omedetou!” said Chinen while clapping his both hands.
“Yuto-kun, omedetou!” Ryosuke said while patting Yuto’s shoulder and the rest of JUMP members also congrats Yuto.
“Minna, arigatou! Ganbarimasu!” Yuto replied with blushing cheeks. He’s so happy that he been given this opportunity and he will try his best not to disappoint Johnny-san and the other members.

Today is the photo shoot for the calendar making, the day that Yuto has been waiting nervously. All members are in the dressing room, getting their hair done and all dress up smartly. Yuto is sitting in front of the mirror, with his hand holding the camera tightly. His heart beating so fast like it’s gonna explode in any second. Chinen saw Yuto’s uneasy expression from the mirror reflection and he just wish that he can blown away that expression and replace it with smile. Yes. He loves this guy since he can’t even remember. At first, he just want to buried his feeling inside but Yuto nowadays become more and more kakkoii he can’t help but wants him all by himself. He walks closer toward him and places his both hands on Yuto’s shoulder, massaging him lightly.
“Yutti…don’t worry okay? You’ll do a great job”, he said try to calm him down.
“Un. Arigatou, Chinen”, he replied but he still feels nervous. From far, Ryosuke is looking at both of them, emotionless.
Yabu, Hikaru and Inoo are now in front of the spotlights, getting ready to pose. Yuto is making sure his camera is all set to go.
“Yuto-kun, daijoubu? You look so restless”, Ryosuke said, standing beside him.
“Yama-chan…dousuru? I’m so nervous…” Yuto said while gripping his camera tight.
“It’s fine. Yuto-kun is good at taking pictures”, he said with a bright smile which blown away all Yuto’s nervousness like a magic.
“Arigatou, Yama-chan. I’m really happy to hear that”, Yuto replied, smiling widely and walking toward his position but then he turns around to say -
“If I manage to take all beautiful pictures today, it’s all thanks to you, Yama-chan” he winks at Ryosuke and grinning playfully.
Ryosuke’s heart skips a beat hearing those words.
Yuto then take his position, raise up the camera and its flashes start to brighten up the room.
In the afternoon, Yuto just finished taking Chinen’s individual photo.
“Chinen, you’re doing great!” Yuto compliment as Chinen managed to follow all his instructions without disappointing him.
“I-ii e. I was actually felt nervous all the time”, Chinen said while Ryosuke and Keito are walking toward them as the three of them will take picture together this time.
“Eh? Sou na no? You didn’t look like it at all”, Yuto said didn’t believe of Chinen’s words.
“B-because, when you hold that camera you have this serious look…it’s like your eyes are staring at me through that camera lens…” Chinen’s said with burning cheeks, Ryosuke and Keito who already standing beside him heard every single of his words.
“Ahaha! Nani sore?” Yuto laughing didn’t take Chinen’s words seriously.
“Mou...nandemonai! Yama-chan and Keito already here deshou? Let continue.” Chinen try to changes the topic. He actually felt so embarrassed as he blurted out something unnecessary.
Ryosuke, Chinen and Keito are standing together with big white screen as background. Yuto holding up the camera onto his face and start clicking the camera’s button.
‘It’s like your eyes are staring at me through that camera lens…’
Somehow, Chinen’s words keep playing in Ryosuke’s mind and he can’t shake it off. Yuto changes his position to the right, left and sometimes he kneel down to take pictures from different angles and Ryosuke’s eyes are forced to follows the lens. Instead of looking at the camera lens, his eyes are more focus to Yuto’s eye. Yuto does have a serious look when he taking the pictures. Yuto then walk toward to those three to get closure picture of their faces and Yuto happen to stand right in front of Ryosuke as he is in the middle.
Ryosuke could see Yuto’s face closer and he staring at Yuto’s uncovered eye deeper. Those flashes are making that one eye sparkling. It’s true, he feels like he can see Yuto’s another eye through that lens…and he is sinking, drowning into that deep stare…
“Yama-chan? What’s wrong? You keep making the same expression”, Yuto’s words startled him, snap him back to reality.
“Aah! Gomen, gomen”, Ryosuke apologized. He could feel his heart thumping so fast.
‘What’s wrong with me?’ he thought in his mind not realizing that his cheek is burning. Yuto slip his hand behind Ryosuke’s bang so his palm could touch the older’s forehead. Ryosuke gasp because of Yuto’s sudden action.
“Are you having a fever? Your face is red”, Yuto asked a bit worried.
“N-no. I’m fine. Don’t worry okay?” he said while removing Yuto’s hand gently.
“Okay. We continue then”, Yuto continue taking the picture. Ryosuke’s every expression was caught by Chinen and he becomes uneasy.
‘Masaka…no, no. I shouldn’t jump into a conclusion’, Chinen thought and he try to throw out his uneasy feeling.
It’s been a week since JUMP calendar making ended and it was a great success. All pictures turn out pretty good and Yuto received a lot of compliments. His talent in photography is unquestionable. Now he can focus on JUMP next photo shoot for Myojo 2013.
Their photos shoot locations today is in the cabin with beautiful green landscape. For the first session Hey Say 7 will shoot first. They all are wearing black blazer with colourful stripes tie and neck bow tie. Yuto and Keito are wearing sleeveless stripes sweater beneath the blazer.
“Ooh Chinen, your hairstyle is different today. Kakkoii ne~” Yuto compliment Chinen. His hairstyle does make him look more otokorashii.
“S-sou? Arigatou. Yutti mo, that sweater look good on you”, Chinen is blushing. It’s quite rare for Yuto to praise his look.
“You only praise him huh?” Ryosuke is mumbling behind of those two.
“Huh? Did you say something?” Keito asked as he heard Ryosuke’s mumbling.
“Eh? Ah…nothing”, he replied awkwardly. Luckily Keito didn’t hear him. Hm? Wait. Why does he care anyway? He shakes his head.
“Yama-chan, why are you shaking your head like a dog?” Yuto chuckles while walking toward Ryosuke and Keito. He was going to call them as the photo shoot is starting.
“Chige yo, baka!” he walk heading toward the photo shoot set and Yuto follow him.
“Wan wan!” Yuto making the dog sound, teasing Ryosuke with playful smile.
“Yuto!” he wants to slap Yuto’s arm but he manage to dodge and run, sticking his tongue out. Ryosuke run after him, smiling happily. Chinen saw those two running like a child toward his direction. He’s hurt and it shown all over his face not realizing that Keito noticed those sad eyes.
During Hey Say 7 photo shoot, the photographer ask them to pose more relax and cheerful so they snuggle close to each other. Keito place his right hand on Yuto’s shoulder and the other on Chinen’s while Yuto wrap his both hands around Chinen’s waist, supporting him. Chinen’s hearts beating so fast. How he wish he can stop the time on that very moment. He grip Yuto’s hand around his waist tightly as if he doesn’t want to let it go. Ryosuke frowned, doesn’t like of what he see right in front of his eyes. He just stands close behind Keito. Among those four, Chinen’s smile is the brightest one while Ryosuke just smile bitterly.
Next one, they were asked to pose on the floor. They all sit on the white sheet and Chinen try to snuggle closer to Yuto but the tall guy happily laid his head on Ryosuke’s lap. This time, its Ryosuke’s heart that thumping so fast. He feels like his legs going numb. He can’t look at Yuto’s face at first and look at Keito instead. But then Chinen reach out his hand and playing with Yuto’s nose. He just hope that Yuto is lying on his lap right now not Ryosuke’s. He moves his head closer to Yuto a bit and keeps playing with Yuto’s nose while Yuto is smiling stupidly. In Ryosuke’s heart he just wants to smack Chinen’s hand away from Yuto. Ryosuke lower his head to look at Yuto on his lap. It’s a perfect time when Yuto also look at the older and their eyes meet for a while. Realizing that, Chinen pinch Yuto’s nose to distract his attention.
Keito who witness those two behaviors just shake his head. They’re so obvious like kids who fighting over a toy. It’s like there is electric current between those two if they their eyes meet. He also shaking his head because of Yuto is so dense that he doesn’t even realize what is happening.
After few hours later, it’s time for Hey Say Best to take their photos and Hey Say 7 members could rest first and play around before their next photo shoot.
“Yama-chan, I need to talk with you for a while”, Chinen grip Ryosuke’s arm stopping him while Yuto and Keito are walking ahead of them. Keito turn his head looking at Ryosuke and Chinen who are walking toward different direction and he can read the situation.
Ryosuke is following Chinen and he stop when they reach behind the cabin.
“What are you trying to do?” Chinen started.
“Huh? Do what?” Ryosuke doesn’t get what he means.
“Do you love him?” he gets straight to the point.
“What are you talking about? Love who?” Ryosuke asked, confused.
“Yuto!” Chinen shouted.
”Eh?” Ryosuke become more confused.
“Yama-chan, listen…” Chinen try to calm down and inhale a deep breath.
“I’m in love with Yuto…so I’m asking you if you have feeling for him too”, Chinen said. Ryosuke is the first person who he ever told about his feeling.
“W-what makes you think like that?” Ryosuke feel his heart beat getting faster and faster.
“Because…every action and every expression you make are telling me that you love him too…” and he walk away leaving Ryosuke behind, speechless…
Keito is watching Yuto who playing with his camera. To be in a nice place like here of course making Yuto excited to take pictures around.
“You’re so dense, you know?” Keito break the silence.
“Huh? What do you mean?” Yuto asked while holding the camera gets ready to snap a picture.
“You didn’t notice how weird those chibi are acting in front of you?”
“Keito, I don’t get you”, Yuto lower down his camera and look at Keito.
“Haaa…” Keito sighing. This guy is really dense when it comes to something like this. He thinks for a while. Should he tell him? Or he should let both of them tell by their selves? Well, they all are dense so he needs to be a game master.
“It’s just my early assumption though”, Keito start his game.
“What?” Yuto’s mind is full of question marks now.
“I think Chinen love you and Yamada just realized that he love you”, he said with slumber tone.
Yuto paused with mouth hanging open. Keito chuckles seeing Yuto’s surprised face.
“Stop joking, Keito. It’s not funny”, Yuto finally speak.
“Try to be more alert of your surrounding, and you’ll find whether I’m joking or not”, Keito said and walk away to look at the other members photo shoot.
Yuto is taking a tour inside the cabin snapping picture here and there. The cabin is full of glass windows and it’s a beautiful view for him to take pictures. He tries to forget everything he heard from Keito just now. He just can’t bring himself to believe all that. How is that even possible? They are all guys to begin with.
Yuto walks toward the door when he saw Ryosuke sitting on the staircase by himself looking pensive. He already took off the blazer and exposed his white shirt.
“Yama-chan, what are you doing up there alone?” Yuto asked and startled Ryosuke.
“Oh, Yuto-kun. Nandemonai”, he smile and stepping down the stairs. Yuto didn’t know that he was battling with his feelings, trying to digest every single of Chinen’s word in his mind and he already found the answer.
“Ne Yuto-kun, let me take some photos too” he said.
“Eh?” Yuto a bit surprised of Ryosuke’s request.
“You bring the digital camera with you right? Let me borrow it”, said Ryosuke. Yuto take out the camera from his pocket and hand it over to Ryosuke.
“Now it’s my turn to take Yuto-kun’s photographs!” he said confidently and rises up the camera.
“Are? Chigau yo ne?” the older tilted his head. He holds the camera quite high because of their height difference is too much and Yuto can’t hold his laugh.
“Mou…Yuto! Stop laughing already!” Ryosuke said while pouting.
“Haha, gomen, gomen. Why not you use the steps stair behind you”, Yuto said still chuckling.
Ryosuke step on two stairs behind him and hold up the camera again. He focuses on the younger’s face who still trying to hold his laugh. Ryosuke is staring at Yuto’s image on the camera screen, deeply. How much he loves that innocent smile. He just wishes that Yuto is looking at him, not the camera.
‘Yuto…I’ve fallen in love with you…dou sureba ii?’ his heart says and he push the camera button…

Yuto is lying on his bed and staring at the empty ceiling. Today photo shoot was really tiring but something happened today that reminds him of Keito’s words. When Ryosuke was taking his picture, he was making a face that he couldn’t describe. Instead of looking at the camera, Yuto was staring at Ryosuke’s face trying to read his expression. Ryosuke was looking at the camera on his hands quite long before he took the picture. Is that so difficult to get the right angle? But the way he stares at the camera was so gentle and…lovely. He admits that his heart was beating so fast on that moment. Before Ryosuke pushed button, he averted his gaze from the camera to Yuto and their eyes met but Yuto could see pain in his eyes.
After he took Yuto’s picture and gave back the camera to him, Yuto saw Chinen at the side. His eyes were showing the same pain as Ryosuke’s. Then he turned around and walked away.
“Maybe Keito was right. What should I do now?” he confused and don’t know how he gonna face those two tomorrow.
The atmosphere in the practice room is quite tense around those three members and everyone realize that. They didn’t talk much and avoiding each other. Among them, Yuto look the most troubled. Even though he knows their feeling toward him, there’s nothing he could do and if they ask him to choose one of them, he doesn’t have the answer for that.
“Keito, do you know what’s wrong with them?” Yabu asked a bit concerned.
“Maa…I guess they’re having a problem which seem that they can’t figure out how to solve it by themselves”, Keito sigh making Yabu blink confused. Keito need to butt in or else they will affect their practice.
That night, Keito decided to text both Chinen and Ryosuke :
To: Chinen & Yamada
From: Keito
Subject: Yuto already knew
Both of you stop avoiding each other and solve your problem already!
Yuto already knew your guys feelings (I’m the one who gave him the clue by the way)
It’s time for you to face each other and settle this before you bring more problems to our group.

Both of them are shocked to death reading Keito’s text. But Keito’s right, soon or later they need to solve this problem.
The next day, Chinen talk to Ryosuke when they are alone in the dressing room.
“Yama-chan, what should we do? Honestly, I don’t want our feelings toward Yuto affect our friendship.”
“I feel the same too, Chinen.”
Silence…
“He needs to choose one of us…” Chinen said.
“Or reject both of us…” Ryosuke continue.
“Promise me, Yama-chan. If Yutti did choose one of us we still gonna be friend, ne?” he asked.
“Un. If Yuto-kun choose you, I will be happy for you”, Ryosuke said while smiling.
“Me too”, Chinen replied.
“But Chinen, I know Yuto-kun. He cares about us a lot. He will not be able to answer us using his word.”
“Then, how?” Chinen agreed with Ryosuke. Yutti is too kind.
“We have to use another way…”
A few weeks later…
Yuto is the last one who still packing up his things after the practice when the door suddenly open.
“Yuuto~” Keito walks in with a big grin.
“Oh, Keito. I thought you already left.”
“It’s good that you don’t have to worry anymore ne?” said Keito.
“What do you mean?” Yuto don’t understand.
“Eh? You didn’t hear? Chinen and Yamada are going for a date after the practice!”
“They’re going together?” Yuto asked a bit surprised.
“No silly. Yamada is going with Dai-chan and Chinen with Takaki.”
“Huh? Eh? N-nande?” Yuto become panic.
“Seriously, Yuto! I told you before to be more alert right? Dai-chan likes Yamada you know? And Takaki likes Chinen since they were in France for the TV program. You did nothing since you know their feelings deshou? I think they want to move on.”
Yuto paused. His heart feels tight.
“I heard that Chinen and Takaki are going to amusement park, eto…Yamada and Daiki are going to the sakura park…”
Yuto run out from the room immediately leaving Keito who grinning.
“I wonder which place he will go ne~” Keito looking forward to know who will be Yuto’s choice.
Daiki look at Ryosuke who standing beside him under the sakure tree. He seem restless and gripping his both hands tight. He look like he gonna cry in any second and Daiki just can’t let him be like that. He stands in front of Ryosuke and reaching out his hand to him.
“Iko?” he said waiting for Ryosuke to take his hand.
Ryosuke just stare at Daiki’s palm in front of him. He wants to wait a bit longer. Slowly, he stretches out his hand toward Daiki’s. His fingers almost touch Daiki’s palm when someone suddenly grab his hand. Both Ryosuke and Daiki look at their side. It’s Yuto, bowing and panting hard with his hand still gripping Ryosuke’s. When he feel he catch enough breathe, he stand straight and look at Ryosuke Then Daiki pretend that he got a call.
“Aah Kei-chan? I’m on my way. Matte ne”, he closed his mobile phone.
“Gomen, I have to go first, ja ne!” he wave his hand and run away from them.
“Fufufu…I’ve done my part. Yokatta ne, Yamada…” said Daiki while running.
Yuto look at Daiki’s figure getting smaller and smaller. He seems to understand that he just fall into a trap. Then he averts his gaze to Ryosuke who is looking down staring at their intertwined hands.
“Yama-chan…” Ryosuke look up and their eyes meet. Yuto’s free hand reaches Ryosuke face and caressing his cheek.
“I like when our eyes meet like this…this is love, right?” he moves his head closer and meet their forehead.
“When I see pain in your eyes, I can feel the pain too…this is love, right?” Yuto raise their intertwined hands and kiss the back of Ryosuke’s hand softly.
“I feel hurt when you go out with someone else and I ran after you…this must be love, right?” his eyes become teary.
“I love you, Yuto! I love you! I really…really love you…” Ryosuke blurt out his feeling that he can’t keep it inside anymore. He holds Yuto’s hand on his cheek and tears are dripping. Yuto smile gently.
“I love you too, Ryosuke…” and he captures Ryosuke’s lips. Both of them share their passionate first kiss and the sakura petals flowing around them are the witness of their true love.
While at the Amusement Park…
“Yutti must be with Yama-chan right now…” tears are dripping from Chinen’s sad eyes. His heart hurt so much. But he still remembers his promise with Ryosuke.
“I’m happy for you, Yama-chan…I truly am…” he said, honestly.
Takaki pat Chinen’s head gently. He understands his feeling very well.
“Since we already here, let enjoy ourselves okay? I’ll make you forget everything” Takaki grab Chinen’s hand and he run, dragging Chinen behind while smiling widely. His days gonna be more fun from now on. Well…Keito did lied about Daiki likes Ryosuke but he didn’t lied about Takaki…
