This weekend was KublaCon, a game convention here in the bay area. I spent just about the entire weekend at the convention with my board game group buddies. We had a great, completely geeky time. We stuck to ourselves for most of the weekend, being the most normal of the geeks. But, we did intermingle somewhat.
I played in (and won) the world premiere of a new Days of Wonder game called Colosseum on Friday. That was a lot of fun. I also bought many new games that our group will be trying out in the upcoming weeks.
Overall, it was a very fun, exhausting, weekend. I'm glad I went.
