So, the question, "What are some of your favorite films?" gets asked fairly frequently. And, I have so many that it is often difficult to give them all due justice. But, there are also some scenes within films that are so well written, acted, directed, etc. that they linger in my mind many days after I've watched (or rewatched) a film. As would be expected, many times these are simply the climax or pivotal scenes from my favorite films, but sometimes a great scene stands alone. Here are a couple of my favorite scenes:
The resolution scene from Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? The tango scene from Moulin RougeThe jilted bride scene from Much Ado About NothingThe death scene from Alien 3The final scene of The GriftersThe toenail scene from Closet LandThe limo/hotel scene from What's Love Got To Do With It?The final scene of Six Degrees of Separation
I would love to hear some of the film scenes that stand out in others' minds.
