sports quiz
Last night a couple of us from work, and some random people from thier pastorates etc went to a sports quiz.
The quiz started well with the first Q being: Where did Lewis Hamilton win his first Grand Prix... I was surprised that the only 2 people to know the answer was me and another girl.... none of the guys watc F1! And I knew a few questions no-one else did, and I was happy with how much I knew. Overall we came 3rd out of 22 teams! How cool.
But when I got home, and 10:55, not that late, one of my flatmates was still up, saying she was gonna call me in 5 mins cos I was late home!! I mean come off it - we're adults, if I wanted to live with my parents I would, and my dad never stays up for me - mainly cos he works late, but still.... how ridiculous? I was so close to being sarcastic or somethign... but I wasn't. Just gonna try adn avoid her for a while - which shouldn't be difficult.
