(no subject)
I'm so tired! Jeremy, Matt and I were at SPOS (St Pauls Onslow Square) for hours getting the sounds equipment up and ready for a rehearsal this afternoon. lots of lifting and carrying. My knees and ankles killed! Thank the lord for painkillers, not the good drugs really, but they'll do for now. SPOS is our second church, which was closed for years and now we're opening again as our sister church. 9am communion started a couple of weeks ago, and evening services start this sunday, so in all HTB and SPOS now do 6 services a sunday! Much fun! But it's looking good.
Being at SPOS yesterday and today doing lighting and sound stuff reminded me of being on the Starhyke set. Organised chaos, but chaos none the less. Right now I'm waiting for Alpha training to start, which i'm doing tech for. I say tech, it's the words for worship, lights, which go down for dvd and then up again, a dvd, and a couple of mics and a worship leader - not hard really, but i'm getting paid so i wont grumble too much lol.
In other news - we have a 4th housemate! Ida, who is American moves in this week sometime I think. Haven't actually met her yet, but if the others like her then its all good.
We get internet in the house on Friday so I can catch up on fic etc. I dare not read slas on the church comps - as an IT guy can easily look at what sites we're accessing. And seeing how Im working for a church - reading gay fic - not a good idea =D
I'm finally going to see Avenue Q in a couyple of weeks with Wendy and Ange! Which will be cool.
Not much else happening in life - still havent unpacked most my stuff yet - room is a tip!! I will do some tomorrow - my day off.
