Update on Kitty Fail

Sep 22, 2009 21:04

When I went to set my alarms tonight, they were still on. This means I didn't forget to set them last night, I just completely slept through them -- both of them -- this morning. I don't remember a thing. So the Fuzz could have been meowing like crazy and I doubt I would have heard him. Kitty exonerated. However, I think this means I need to fix my OMG LOUD METAL BELL WITH NO SNOOZE! alarm clock, just for those rare stormy nights when I apparently sleep like the dead. (Judging by how some low-pressure fronts during the day can knock me out, this makes sense, but it's troubling when I don't know it's happening.)

On a completely different note: children's song with a high Rusty-approval rate!

Put your hand in your mouth and then on the door,
Someone grabs the doorknob and walks across the floor,
Their hand gives a pencil to someone who's their friend,
The pencil in the mouth,
You know the circle never ends!

You gotta wash your hands (lavate las manos)...

Tonight's Nova on epigenetics is fascinating. I would much rather watch this kind of stuff lately than fiction. It's intellectually rewarding, whereas fiction requires... emotional commitment, I guess?

I'm just entertaining myself now... snerk. I should have known this day was coming soon when my father, armed with the pop culture knowledge he gets from the FOX news channel, had to tell to me about a recent public outburst by a rap artist, so that I could finally get those jokes on Twitter.
