I'll think of a title when I'm not dashing out the door.

In case anybody was worried about my accidentally shocking knitted item, it has been felted and looks more like it was supposed to.

It does a good job of keeping water cold and keeping bottles from sweating everywhere. That's all I wanted it to do, and as a bonus, the strap will make it easy to carry. And it used up the very last bit of my lemongrass Lion Wool!

Here's the pattern I used. Instead of a fair isle pattern I used this chart (from here) for a seal of Rassilon.

I was knitting it flat, though, because I'm not very good with double pointed needles, so I had to go back and forth in the pattern (instead of L-R every row) and then sew it all up when I finished. Not difficult. Making the twisty strap was fun, too.

* Occasionally, I need someone to dress me, because I have no idea what I'm doing. For instance, can I still pull off knee stockings and Sarah Mary Janes? I think the answer is yes, but what do I know? And anyway, the more important question is: should I? For graduation tonight, I decided to be simple and less risky and just wear sandals. But that meant I had to shave (bleagh) and the resulting injuries may cause me to have to wear the stockings anyway. ::rolls eyes::

* After graduation, I am FREE. For ten days. We used to have two full weeks between our summer and fall semesters, but the University in its infinite wisdom has decided to start the new semester on a Thursday instead of Monday, effectively chopping four days off of our break. For the professors and students who had a month or two or three off, that's no big deal, but we were working 55 hours a week all summer, thank you very much. Oh well. I'll try to make the most of it! As usual at the farm, I'll have internet access most of the time but my schedule and availability will be wonky, so I'll be even more of an LJ flake than I normally am. ::hugs if I don't see you::

* Oh, I forgot to mention, I fixed my little computer! Sort of. I made it revert to factory settings, which meant I lost everything, but I didn't have much on there anyway (it only has a 4G hard drive) and it was worth it to be able to use the USB ports, manage files, listen to music and watch videos again.
