Something That Made Me Happy: First herb "harvest" of the year. Really, just messing around with my garden pots on the balcony is what made me happy. On Sunday I moved all the pots out from winter "shelter" and everything that was alive in December, when the weather pretended for a couple of days that it was going to act like winter, is still alive and starting to grow. I planted one new baby tomato plant in among the parsley, seems to be thriving a lot better now than it did last summer. I may also have basil coming up volunteer from seeds dropped by last year's basil.
