You may not recall that last December I offered to send out some non-holiday specific
cards sometime in 2009. I got them all made and the envelopes addressed and stamped in December (2008), and I send out a couple of batches in winter and spring. I even managed to send a couple from the Grand Canyon! I blame my stupid card-message-writing anxiety for my lack of complete follow-through. BUT it's still 2009, and I may yet be able to get it done. And bonus, the winter postage stamps I put on last year are seasonal again, they just need a bit of extra postage now. I'm just crossing my fingers people's addresses haven't changed.
So. If you receive a card with a rubber stamp on it that looks like it was done by a four-year-old with a potato, that's because it was done by me with a potato. And then I can get to work on my 2009/2010 cards. I've ordered photo prints and got my cardstock ready!
My parents and I are headed out on our Northern Trek today for a quick visit to the extended families. Barring weather or other difficulties, we'll be gone for six days. I've got LJ txt and Twitter direct messaging on, but I don't expect I'll have much regular internet access. Happy Calendar New Year, everyone!
