Sherlock Holmes Walk

Hello, LJ/Dreamwidth friends! Long time, no post. I think that at least a couple of you will be interested in the photos I took today, so I decided to share them here.

Although it was a rather grey, blustery day today, I ventured out of my apartment on various quests. First, I picked up the printer catridge I had ordered from a nearby Staples and came home to print out an email from Indigo confirming a book I'd ordered: Hounds of the Hollywood Baskervilles: A Babs Norman Hollywood Mystery. Crowens had me at Basil Rathbone, though I love Willam Powell and Myrna Loy as well (not to mention The Thin Man). Anyway, after picking up this book and having lunch in the food court at the Yonge/Eglinton Centre, I set off on my main quest.

I'd been meaning to visit The Sherlock Holmes Walk since I'd first heard about it but didn't get around to it until today. The Sherlock Holmes Walk is a street art mural project that was created by StreetARToronto in association with the Toronto Public Library, the Friends of the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection, and the Toronto Transit Commission.
