I know this is old hat to anyone with any depth of punk knowledge, and I'm not evenr eally all that interested in hanging bands up for things they sang nearly 20 years ago. A while back I introduced your Skredriver = Bad Brains argument to a few kids around here and have heard it reappearing now and then at parties. I don't have the answer, except that I listened for years to the first yellow tape without having any idea that Bad Brains were wingnut homophobes, and that's the reason I've never bought anything after I Against I. Skrewdriver, however, I knew from the first were fascists and I couldn't ever get down with whatever they were doing.

I know you think this is totally dorky (and I've never had time for Agnostic Front since they were the favourite band of all the neo-nazis at my junior high school circa 1989-91), but I can't enjoy a band that writes shit like this. There's no rule or logic to it, and I'm not trying to say what other people should feel, but it's like the Forgotten Rebels-- I tried listening to In Love With The System a few weeks ago and thought, "man, fuck these assholes ( ... )

All else aside, I certainly don't think that "Skrewdriver = Bad Brains". It's just a fun argument.
