Snapping Beans

Yesterday I picked up some fresh green beans and an artichoke at the Farmers Market..

I made the artichoke just like my mom used to make it... cooked it and ate it.. didn't taste the same.. I threw it out.

I snapped the green beans just like my grandmother taught me.. cooked them.  They are the perfect "crispness" and I sprinkled sea salt on them and am now eating them like they are potato chips.. with my fingers.

They are that good.
