TNA > WWE :: Star Wars > ___________

OK, so I was perusing the wrestling websites, as I usually do, and I came across the fact that the WWE is releasing a "WWE RAW's Greatest Hits Album". Now, as some of you may know, I don't deal with the WWE too much anymore because I got tired of the bullcrap storylines and garbage. I'm much more a fan of TNA now. Anyways, for those of you who may not know (and if you don't, well, I don't think you will get much from this post, but read it anyways lol), RAW is the WWE's Monday night show. Their other show is Friday night's Smackdown. (I'm not even going to bother with WWE's shit version of ECW because I loved ECW and the WWE took it and absolutely destroyed it.)

Well, RAW has been airing for 15 years. Here is the track listing for the CD:

01. John Cena - “The Time Is Now”
02. Stone Cold Steve Austin - “I Won’t Do What You Tell Me”
03. The Rock - “If You Smell”
04. Triple H - “The Game”
05. Shawn Michaels - “Sexy Boy”
06. Undertaker - “Rest In Peace”
07. Mr. McMahon - “No Chance In Hell”
08. Batista - “I Walk Alone”
09. Evolution - “Line In The Sand”
10. Chris Jericho - “Break The Walls Down”
11. Mick Foley - “Wreck”
12. Trish Stratus - “Time To Rock & Roll”
13. Rey Mysterio - “(619)”
14. Kane - “Slow Chemical”
15. D-Generation X - “Are You Ready”

Bonus Tracks:
16. Melina - “Paparazzi”
17. Ken Kennedy - “Turn Up The Trouble”

Does ANYONE else find it as disturbing and ridiculous as I do that ALL of these tracks are from the past 7 years or sooner (sooner as in closer to the present date). That strikes me as absolutely lazy and just trying to score an easy $13.99. What about some of the earlier great entrance themes of wrestlers such as Ken Shamrock, The Acolytes, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, The Oddities, The Legion of Doom, HULK HOGAN for gosh sakes! Thank you WWE for giving me another reason to feel like it's about the money and not about the fans anymore.

May The Force Be With You

P.S. The answer we were looking for in the title of this post was Star Trek. That's right, Star Trek
