Max Blob's Bavarian Beer Hall to close for good in March

they had closed once before, then re-opened a couple years later after re-doing the place ... I have many fond memories of times there ... but I was not a regular, so I guess I am partly to blame for them going out of business
I think everyone should make an effort to go visit at least once more before they close ... decent food, good beer, and oddly entertaining bands ... where else can you see a well endowed 60 year old woman dressed like the St. Pauli beer girl sing a Madonna song? and do it well?

a violent sidenote - I think anyone who carries one of the oversized golf umbrellas onto Metro, smacking people with them as they go, should have it be law that anyone they hit with their umbrella can take the umbrella, shove it up the owner's ass, and then open it

a pleasant sidenote - when I leaned over to hit the snooze button this morning, all 3 cats then shifted and curled up next to me ... warm purring happiness
