I think I am getting closer to the correct formula but, due to all the different theories, it may take a bit to work several out and test them. Especially when I can only work on them off-shift. What troubles me most is the other worlds' coordinates in relation to our own. If they are similar then there is less of a problem, but if the planets are arranged totally unlike our own...well, I do not wish to be the one responsible for sending our captain to the center of a star. That will limit what worlds we could test on, at least until I can clean up the formulas and increase accuracy. I may be getting ahead of myself. First, I think I need more coffee.
Viktor seems to have gotten bigger. Not by much, for he is still small, but he's closer to being too big for my hand than small enough to be cradled in it. He has also taken to chewing on things I leave on the floor. Thankfully, I learn quickly, but I'm not sure how to explain the damaged uniform. I shall think of something.
