Hirono Shimizu - Hirono's a minor character from Battle Royale (although from the way Tallulah and I act, you'd think she was one of the main ones, which is a shame because she's awesome) and is the girl in the icon that I'm currently using.
She's a rather violent prostitute who, in the manga, hasn't been driven quite as mad by the game as you would expect. She dies a horrible, horrible death at the hands of Toshinori Oda, after catching septicaemia due to being shot by one of her former bully victims. I decided, during br_roleplay V7 canon to play her in a new and original way, and promptly decided to give her an ex-Program winning regular client, a relatively high IQ and a bit of a soft spot for Shinji Mimura (why I did the last one, I'll never know *shot*).
Somewhere along the line, I decided "Hey, I actually like her...there needs to be fic!" (this was probably while threatening to shoot limbs off V7's version of Oda, who totally had it coming...although I don't think that Shinji or Haruka would be as willing to let her join their epic love story if she had) and...it all went a bit downhill from there.
Usually I write her with Shinji. Occasionally with Yutaka (because opposites attract) and I wrote her with Shuuya once but never finished the fic.
I love her. Can't you tell?
Owen Harper (yes, again *glowers*) - Added on to my previous rant about Owen and how much I love him despite the writers having it in for him, the novel writers are even worse. I think there's probably only one S1 novel that doesn't have him under the control of something alien. Poor guy.
Um...I ship him with almost every character in every other fandom that I write in (except Cass Rose the First Doctor) but I'd really like to see him paired with Simon Tam for snarky medic love. Can't write Firefly though. Shame.
Random Crack - This...may have something to do with the 30,000 word MSN based fic that I wrote Tallulah which started with me feeling bad about letting her down because Yutaka died in V8. But not necessarily. I have a habit of taking things that either of us say off-hand and making them into fics (2007/2008's 12 days christmas challenge involves evil!Shinji film noir, which as I recall, started from a meme Tallulah took which involved her saying that Shinji would be a great supervillain).
BRRP - A roleplay community based on Battle Royale (obviously), I joined in 2006 for V6 canon (oh, yeah, there's two communities for canon and original characters...original characters is more popular, but the endgames are more...intense than they are for canon). I've played both and enjoyed both, but V7 canon was my favourite, not just for Hirono and Shinji's sexcapades.
Politics - Half of my uni subject. Um...I vote Liberal Democrat (which in theory is the centrist party of the three main ones, but because Labour decided to betray its core voters in 1997, they're now the lefties). I'm not as vocal about it as most of the people on my subject (because I spend most of at least one lecture watching the hardline Conservative sat next to me argue with the Labour activist across the room. It's hilarious (technically, I should be on the side of the Labourite, but he's an arrogant jerk, so...).
