Circuit City sucks. So does Best Buy. But a quick call to corporate usually solves problems with stupid local store managers.

The reason I went with brick and mortar is the possibility of return, did not want to ship and stuff. Also the promo price + tax turned out to be lower than online + shipping cost that I found elsewhere.

Got TomTom online now.

I don't shop in stores for electronics. I don't like to pay sales tax. So Newegg or amazon is the way to go, and the return policies are written out and easy to find.

neither do I for most items, but stores often gave me better pricing and easier returns, unlike this time

Why, if the seller is not present at all in your state (no nexus) then there will be no sales tax for online or catalogue purchases.

I had bad experience with CC as well. Thank God, eventually I got my money back. Hope not to deal with them again.
