Normally I don't mind a bit of rain, but this is ridiculous! The ground was already saturated - the ponds and streams around here were high before this latest front moved in, and that was after a full week without rain. Went to the beach this weekend (Sat & Sun both) with Mom. Yesterday was pretty windy - the remnants of the storms from Thurs & Fri - and we saw a sailboat washed ashore named the Moonlight Dancer. Mom & I have a running debate over when she was lost - Mom thinks it might have been Hurricane Ivan, I think it was more likely the storms last week. ( Read more... )
