...why am I not tired?
Really, I don't know why I'm not tired.
I didn't get much sleep last night (my own fault for staying up late) and had to go to work today - my turn for weekend duty. Did the whole work thing, helped people find things and picked out a new set of movies for the new month, that kind of stuff.
After work, I went grocery shopping and picked up some beans to make into soup tomorrow. Those are sitting in a pot soaking right now - it was the first thing I did after I put up the rest of the groceries. Made myself some dinner, then buckled down to work on some Xmas presents. I had three people ask me for art, and since they're all family, that meant that they all need to be done before Wednesday. I'd done one (well, one set actually - Middle Sis wanted some kanji, and that's pretty easy to do quick) and I'd planned on doing another one tonight, since I'd gotten an idea of what to do for MS's hubby's pic.
It was actually a pretty simple concept with a big impact and turned out fairly well, so I thought I'd do a variation for my niece & nephew-in-law's pic. The nice thing about acrylics is that they dry pretty quickly, so they're hanging on the wall to finish curing before I track down some frames for them.
So today's tally: 1 full day of work, 4 bags of groceries, 1 pot of beans soaking, 2 paintings completed and drying, and errands for tomorrow. And I think I'm forgetting something, but I can't remember what. ^^;
