So, b/c I'm interested, and b/c I happen to be watching one of my favorite movies atm, I thought I'd give you my Top Ten Movies. And then, if you're interested, you can list yours and that way I'll have some recommendations and so will you. :D

1. The Shawshank Redemption. The ultimate movie about hope.

2. The Lion King. Simba faced his past with murder on his conscience. I don't know if I could do it.

3. The Star Wars Trilogy. The Epic Hero on the big screen. You can't have one without the other two.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean. Love, swords fights, pirates and eyeliner--the best popcorn movie ever. "Mmmhmmhmmhmmhmmmm . . . and really bad eggs."

5. The Last Samurai. Ken Watanabe's character breaks my heart every time.

6. The Quiet Man. John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara are wonderful in this romantic-comedy set in Ireland.

7. The Princess Bride. The Grandfather explains it all.

8. Gladiator. Russell Crowe is freakin' fantastic in this movie.

9. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Another epic story with lots of fantastic characters.

10. Roman Holiday. Audrey Hepburn chosing her responsibility over love is mindboggling in a good way.

11. Tombstone. I LOVE Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday. Probably the only good role he's ever had. And I couldn't leave it out of my top ten.

Honorable Mentions:
Pride and Prejudice (not as good as the miniseries with Colin Firth but when Darcy says "Surely you must know, it was all for you" . . . MELT)
The Indiana Jones Trilogy
The Back to the Future Trilogy
Knights Tale
Evita (Singing Antonio Banderas . . . HOT HOT HOT)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I told my mom about the new one and she said "We're seeing that when it comes out. You and me. B/c no one else [in the family] likes them but you and me.")
Charade (with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant--totally cute and fun!)
Casino Royale (best Bond movie EVER)
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Is that enough for ya? Do I have any takers for their own lists?
