I know it has been a while
Hello again.
Haven't wrote anything in almost a month.. I know. I have just been busy and haven't felt like writing anything on here. When I come home that is the only time I can spend with Roman so I do not want to use that time doing other things. Maybe I am greedy but it never seems like we have enough time together because we work such long hours.
School is still going good. I am still teaching the same classes. I just gave two oral tests on Friday to my Hi,Kids 1.7 and 1.9 classes. I was a little disappointed with their scores. It just goes to show that they do not listen to me in class. Maybe I should make them some notes to follow with vocabulary words and key phrases because they didn't remember anything for the test. We went over and over it so many times! It is a little frustrating that they don't listen.
On September 10th I received my first paycheck so I bought some new clothes. I bought four long sleeve dress type shirts. I bought some black boots, pink flats, two pairs of black flats, red flats, some heels (haven't received them yet), a black fall jacket, a black cardigan (so warm) a long blue and grey cardigan with a hood, a grey leather jacket, some leggins 3 pairs (light brown, grey, and white), and two mini skirts (black and brown). I think that is everything. I have a shopping addiction ><
My cough is finally gone, about maybe two weeks ago I went to the hospital and was hooked up to an IV it was just for nutrition. I also got a shot in the butt. it hurt lol.
Last saturday, because I was getting red patches on my skin, I went to the dermatologist and he gave me so medicated cream to try. I also went to the store and bought better body wash, oil, and lotion to keep my skin from getting too dry. It all seems to be helping. Most of the red dry patches have gone away.
After going to the doctor, Roman and I were going to eat at TGI Fridays but guess what! They had run out of bread, so we couldn't get a sandwich. Very annoying. So instead we went to the English bookstore where Roman bought me Steven King's Dreamcatchers, a book called 11 minutes, and Wicked. I am reading Wicked right now and I am enjoying it. After the bookstore we stopped by McDonald's cause yeah that place never runs out of food. Good ol' reliable McD's.
Last Thursday, I had open class meaning that my students parents got to sit in class while I taught my lesson. I was so nervous. And it didn't help that my students kept turning around and talking to their mommies while I was trying to teach. ><
Oh well my class went better than my co-teachers. F class got into a fight while she was teaching them. The parents were so sad. After the parents left me class, my students cried. I had to deal with seven crying children. Sometimes I think my school needs to think about things better. BECAUSE... after my lesson was over, I told my students they could get up and go visit with their mommies. BUT no! the administrator who was sitting in my class said for the students to sit back down. So all my kids cried because they wanted to hug their mommies. I was a little angry. I MEAN THEY ARE ONLY 6-years-old let them be with their parents for a few minutes jeez.
Then on Friday in the afternoon we had a birthday party for my E classes Sarah. In the morning my kids usually get a snack, but om Friday they didn't. After the birthday party my kids were so hungry that they were crying. They hadn't eaten all day. Then they finally got lunch and afterward they got to eat cake, but they were given no plates or anything. Maybe I am becoming too annoyed by the little mistakes. But I think the school should be more prepared. Or maybe I am just becoming too attached to my kids. I have been busy making their lesson plans and thinking of fun things they can do. Since Halloween is this coming month, I have planned so many Halloween things. I am so excited. I am dressing up as a witch for their Halloween party. tee hee hee.
This week is Chusok (a holiday) so I do not have to work on Friday (YEAH!) I wish it were Friday now. I am so looking forward to having a three day weekend. On Saturday Roman and his mother are going to meet his family so I will be all by myself for a few hours. Maybe I will sleep then.
So that's my update for now gonna read the rest of the evening while Roman paints. Can't believe tomorrow is Monday. The weekend goes by way too quickly.
