Working 15 hours, missing Halloween.
I missed out on all the Halloween festivities because I went to work at 5:30AM and stayed till 8PM.
I didn't even grade papers, I planned and put grades in the gradebook. That's all!
I even forgot about Halloween until I came home and wondered why there were funny people dressed up and walking around.
I passed out about $20 worth of candy to all my obnoxious children, though.
Well, some of the kids are great, but the majority are obnoxious.
Then there's the Publix kid... Aw, he's so NICE to me in class. He stands up for me and tries to get the class to shut up and stuff. It's so nice. It makes me feel sad. I think I'd feel better if he hated me. Sometimes it's tough to have kids like me and try to do the right thing while the rest of the class is running wild. It seems like such a hopeless cause.
Anyway, I ate a HUGE cookie, whole fat icecream, and fried rice. I think I had some veggies in there, but it's not like it would cancel out this lard. Sigh. It's 9PM, I have to go back to school in ten hours and do this all over again.
Oh. There's this cute little gay girl couple in my class. Well, one of the girl is in my class and her girlfriend is an 11th grader who SKIPS to my class and actually pays attention. She says that my language arts class is the most she's ever participated in. She said she was never really interested in language arts. Omg. I think I might have made a difference! Sort of. In one person. It's very sad. And she's not even in my class.
