Sweet New Year everyone!
For anyone in Pittsburgh still looking: Hillel is having Reform services on Wednesday night at 7 (come at 5:30 for food) and Conservative and Orthodox also Wednesday night and for the rest of the High Holidays. Definitely come on Wednesday to Reform, 'cause I'm leading it, and friendly faces are a plus!!
Also, Rodef Shalom (Fifth and Morewood) and Sinai (Forbes and something up in Squill) are having services and will let you in with your student ID. If you want to come to Sinai with me, send me a message!
For everyone else: I'll be out of contact for the next bit, but everything's fine...just a little pressured with homework and leading a service and everything. But life is good and EE is awesome...I think I'm heading a bit more toward electrical engineering than computer engineering. Why do I keep thinking of it as "the softer side"? I'm not really a discrete person, I think. Give me an integral any day. Which isn't to say that I won't put myself through the pain anyway. I'm thinking of taking Signals and Systems, 15-213, and Electromagnetics next semester...someone want to tell me if I'm crazy?
First semester of junior year, I want to take Fundamentals of Control and Civilian and Military Applications of Space. Which, unfortunately, puts me rather far from Verilog (240) when I next need it. Ah well, such is life. Matlab is so much more intuitive anyway.
Anyhow, more advisor-prep angst later. I'm off to read me some Hebrew.
Wheee!
