It's here!!
I'm currently typing from my pull out sofa bed on my new laptop. It's TINY, and in keeping with tradition, I've named him Puck. (To go along with Tam-Lin and Janet. I don't know where Lain-chan fits in there, but hey.) I've still got people peering over my shoulder, but I can angle the screen. I love this computer! Anyone have any recommendations for good Japanese dictionary software? Now to start installing the important things, like winamp and VLC. Glee! And I have a modular additional battery I can hot swap for the DVD-RW drive coming in a few days. I love Fujitsu!
And guilt's pretty good too. My parents are afraid I'll go to Japan and never some back or something so they're spoiling me rotten while they have the chance.
Dentist tomorrow. Crap. I need to find a better dentist, this place is like something out of a nightmare set in the 50s and I'm always afraid my dentist will have a stroke and die while he's working on me or something.
But back to happier thoughts. Uhh, uhh, crap! Going to Japan! Must study... Aaah! Oh, and I have to get that mask website up and running in a couple days. Looks like it's time to install all the heavy duty software on this beast, which means clearing off Lain-chan to give to my family.
