So there was an excellent amount of retail therapy today.  I managed not to spend my whole paycheck for the week, but probably a good half.  Used my credit card for something completely unnecessary at Banana Republic (cute black shirt, didn't need it, but got it anyway!), so there's that to pay off now.  Went to the shoe store and bought new work shoes, a comfy cute pair of black ballet flats, and some killer four inch black heels, so I can be hot or cute.  I tend towards the cute, it's just easier for me.  But when the weather gets a little warmer, I can have the occasional hot day.  And I would've bought the purple flats, because I have red shoes, I now need purple shoes, but they didn't have my size.  That's okay, I have two new unnecessary pairs of shoes, I probably ought to wait for the third pair.  And my mother and I went to Sephora, which I can't not buy something there.  The lady who checked us out turned out to have my same birthday, and the exact same problem, that neither of us can leave that store without buying new lipgloss.  I bet it's harder for her since she works there.  That'd be a lot of new lipgloss.  But even if it is totally egregious spending, I don't care.  I got pretty new lipstain with SPF 15 (sunscreen rules!), and concealer for those horrible breakouts I get.  The lady asked me if I tanned at all, and I said no, and she said I'd better go with the 2 tint.  I am just barely above albino.  Seriously.

Also, the lady helping my mum with her makeup agrees with me and my mother; I would not look good as a redhead.  Or if I went red, I'd have to go dark red, and then I'd be completely albino, and my best friend would kill me.  Besides, I'd lose the excuse to blame my stupidity and cluelessness on my blondeness.  And no one wants that.  Like, you know.

And, um, get to wear jeans tomorrow.  Work's still going to be lame, but maybe they'll let us go without having to do maintenance or anything too drawn out.  And I get to drive, which means I can sing in the car if I so desire and not have to listen to criticisms about other people's driving.  And I get to go home on time.

Must remember to print my resume, and take notes on Tuesday, and that I have a book club meeting that night.  Man, Tuesday is busy.  How'd that happen?  Eh.

Bring on the Spring already!  I hate trying on shoes in my knees socks, as hilarious as it is to be walking in four-inch heels while wearing black and orange striped socks, looking like the Wicked Witch.  I shall always rule on Halloween with socks like that.
